About The Author

Between 2009 and 2015, I lived at, worked at, and even managed a small zoo. The main part of my job was raising baby animals and trying to make them as sweet and lovable as possible. There are so many people who are genuinely curious about this lifestyle, and I know there are some people out there who are currently living this lifestyle. I hope this blog will simultaneously show people what exotic animals are really like (they don't usually make good pets!), and maybe it will help someone who is looking for more information about zoo life.

ZooMommy doesn't work at the zoo anymore, but her life is still run by animals. Namely, a big blond mutt, a corgi, a Persian, and an African grey (but mostly the corgi).
